Rehoboth Beach
Rehoboth Beach named to 3 "BEST OF" Lists

AARP has named Rehoboth Beach as one of five dream towns as "Best Places to Retire". See their article in the July 2006 issue of AARP's magazine or access the article online: Rehoboth Beach - Dream Town

The Travel Channel Fansite also named the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk as one of the Best American Boardwalks

Reader's Digest named the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk as "Best of America". This celebration of the quirky, amazing and truly extraordinary was featured in the May 2006 issue.

Rehoboth Beach has it all from quaint bed and breakfasts to many fine hotels. Area restaurants and eateries offering the catch of the day to French cuisine and draw sophisticated palates from as far away as Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Manhattan just for dinner. Area shopping ranges from factory outlets to specialty shops, and let’s not forget - all of it is TAX FREE! One of downtown Rehoboth's greatest assets is a mile-long boardwalk which allows for bike riding, strolling or jogging. Other activities and special events on the "boards" include miniature golf, arcades, a small amusement park, bandstand musical entertainment and numerous festivals. Here you can sit and observe the sunrise and enjoy the daily migration of dolphins and pelicans.

With strict building codes the City of Rehoboth Beach will continue to have the charm and simplicity of a time gone-by allowing for a true escape and yet enough energy and edge to keep it timeless and the child in us all alive and well. Specifically known for its’ diversity, award winning restaurants, specialty boutiques, festivals, and mile-long boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach is a socio-economic gold mine.
